Pairing of Wearer Sessions for "Shenanigans"
Summary Implement a Feature to Pair Wearer Sessions
Allow multiple sessions to be paired for fun game-y interactions where say person X rolls their wheel and lands on a slice that bumps up their time, it'll decrease the time of person Y, or vice versa, person X rolls their wheel and lands on a slice that decreases their time, it'll increase the time for person Y. This pairing can include multiple other features such as at the conclusion of a shared pillory period, the person with the most votes is further penalized and the other person benefits.
- shared voting where an adding vote for one might be a random or a subtracting vote for the other.
- Playing blackjack against the other paired wearer, where one person plays a game, (with no result) and then when the second wearer plays the game, the game concludes and adds time to the loser.
- I'm sure more ideas can be though of here, but for the sake of brevity I will stop.
This would entirely be used for wearers held by the same holder, or a holder and wearer combo if the two are both holding for each other, or else, feasibly, it will not work. On that note Ideally this would eventually work across multiple wearers held by the same holder, such as maybe up to 10 wearers max or whatever the technological limitations are, but for ease of coding and what not, starting with just a pair of people would probably be best.
Later on down the road, if this were to be implemented, a shared voting page where people can see who is paired up and can vote directly on one of them would be another interesting idea (yeah I snuck in an additional feature request, don't kill me).
Why is it needed
Why is this needed? Many reasons. 1). It'll build camaraderie within the community by allowing closer bonds to be formed. 2). It's fundamentally unique from any other feature on the website. Sure the pillory allows time to be added, and voting allows time to be added and subtracted, but it is rarely the case that for wearers sharing a holder that "a vote for thee is a vote against me", and you lose out on that extra dimension of fun. 3). It's very in nature with the almost "game-y" nature of Emlalock. The games are there to add fun, and well, Emlalock would not be the same Emlalock we all know and love without the added games. 4). IMAGINE the possibilities with this. I'll let y'all think on this, because I'm sure y'all can come up with even better ideas for this.
As always, please, please, PLEASE leave any and all feedback, even if in the current iteration it isn't feasible, it's always more fun to find ways to improve on things and possibly make their future iterations work!
Thanks for reading this longwinded idea
